Al Safa 1 & 2: central, green and well schooled
Al Safa 1 and 2 are villa neighbourhoods laid out decades ago, which is why the streets are wide and the trees are tall. Many of the original homes are being replaced with new low-rise apartment buildings, so you will find both on the same street.
Schools are the main draw for families. Jumeirah Primary School, JESS and Jumeirah College are in or right beside the area, which saves a long school run.
Onpassive station on the Red Line is about five minutes by car, and Business Bay six to ten. Neither is a walk, so most households keep a car. Safa Park and the beach are both close.
