A low-rise district built as an open-air shopping street, minutes from Downtown and the beach. Homes sit above the shops.
City Walk: living above the shops, on purpose
Most of Dubai is designed around driving. City Walk was built the other way: a street grid you walk, with cafes at ground level and homes over the top. That is the whole appeal. It is also why the residences carry a premium.
The mix of residents is families and young professionals. GEMS Wellington Primary and JSS Private School are nearby. Canadian University Dubai is close too, so students make up a chunk of the rental demand.
One honest note on transport. It feels central, but the nearest metro is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line, about eight to ten minutes by car. It is not walkable from most of City Walk.
Shops downstairs, home upstairs
