Jumeirah Golf Estates: the golf one
Jumeirah Golf Estates is wasl's gated villa community, laid out around the Earth and Fire golf courses. It suits a family or a golfer who wants a villa on the fairways and a metro stop at the gate. It doesn't suit anyone who needs a school inside, or who minds the crowds when the tour comes each November.
The homes are villas and townhouses in neighbourhoods set along the fairways. Earth hosts the DP World Tour Championship, next on 12–15 November 2026. Dibber runs a nursery on the estate, but there is no school: Victory Heights Primary and Sunmarke are about 3 km away.
The estate is about to change. In May 2025 wasl unveiled The Next Chapter: 4.68 million m² with 12,345 more homes, most of them apartments, for over 51,700 residents. It adds towers beside the stations, a 5,000-seat tennis stadium and a school site. Ask how close a villa sits to the new districts, and when they will be built.
Transport is the other change. The Red Line's Jumeirah Golf Estates station, the network's largest underground stop, opened in September 2021. Etihad Rail gives 30 September 2026 as the opening date of its Dubai station beside it. The Gold Line is due to end here in September 2032.

A nursery on the estate, but the nearest schools are about 3 km away, in Victory Heights and Jumeirah Village.
