The Meadows: a grown-up family neighbourhood
The Meadows is part of Emirates Living, a group of older Emaar neighbourhoods near Dubai Marina. There are more than 1,800 villas here, from three to seven bedrooms, spread across nine clusters. Because the community is mature, the trees are tall and the streets are shaded. That is rare in newer parts of Dubai.
Most homes have a private garden and many have a pool. Emirates International School sits inside the community and teaches the IB curriculum from age three to eighteen. Meadows Souk and The Meadows Village cover supermarkets, cafes and everyday errands.
The nearest metro is DMCC in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, about eight minutes by car. DIFC, Dubai's financial district, is a straight run down Sheikh Zayed Road. The community is gated and pet-friendly.
Gardens, not balconies
Villas here come with a real garden and often a private pool. Three to seven bedrooms, twenty different layouts.

Lakes, trees and footpaths
Twenty years of growth means tall trees and shade. Lakes, parks and jogging tracks run between the clusters.
